I identified this as The Bradford Exchange’s officially licensed Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Moonlight Lamp. It combines a working tabletop lamp with a detailed character sculpture.
The hand-painted artist’s-resin base shows Jack Skellington and Sally dancing among cobblestones, pumpkins, a stone wall, and a twisted tree while Zero follows behind. The black cloth shade depicts the couple on Spiral Hill beneath a yellow moon. Wispy fringe creates a suitably cobwebbed edge.
Even the silver-colored finial references the movie: Bradford modeled it after the cat figurehead on the Mayor’s car. According to the official product description, the lamp measures about 20 inches tall and originally included a blue bulb that creates its “moonlight” effect.
The Bradford Exchange produced and sold the Disney-licensed lamp directly through its catalog and website as item 119475001. The company limited the edition to 295 crafting days rather than 295 individual lamps. The underside of this example bears a May 6, 2019 label, while its printed copyright information dates the design to 2013.
It captures the film’s unusual blend of romance, Halloween, and Christmas in one wonderfully theatrical object.
